Predictions for workplace equality in 2020 and beyond

It is 2018 and women have made great strides in the workplace, but inequality persists. Especially in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), women only make up about 25 percent of these jobs. Given these numbers:

Have we correctly identified the barriers to entry for middle and high school aged girls into STEM education?

What can be done to break down these barriers? Are we doing enough?

What are we doing to retain and develop female talent within the STEM fields so that women fairly represent the leadership in the various technology fields?

What trends are we seeing in the workforce today?
